It was unthinkable just a couple of days ago, but the spring is indeed here. We went to a local marketplace on a sunny Saturday morning, to buy some vegetables and fruits – garlic, young onions, tomatoes, Brussel sprouts, paprika and apples.
The moment we entered, I noticed an old gentleman carring a bunch of branches from the goat willow, fully covered with furry grey catkins. And I knew I had to get some too! Ema has never seen anything like that, but liked it, and insisted on carrying them around while we looked for vegetables. It is likely she gave a whip to some people passing by….but no one really did mind. 🙂
I got some pale and hot pink tulips, and arranged everything in a vase.
An absolutely beautiful symbol of spring.
Have a great day!
